BYLAWS AND POLICY 
The Bylaws and Policy function enables the corporation to meet the needs of members and the Board to carry out the established functions by monitoring and developing bylaws and policies for Board and/or membership approval; ensuring that practices reflect policy; and monitoring meetings for efficient operation.

The Budget and Finance function provides member oversight of all fiscal operations by developing and recommending fiscal policy; proposing budgets to carry out the functions of the corporation; and monitoring all fiscal operations.

The Grants/Awards function recognizes the outstanding contributions of individual members and others, and exemplary programs; encourages attendance at professional growth activities; provides support for Illinois school library media centers which have experienced disasters and facilitates collections for disaster aid in other states.
